In Romans 5 Paul begins laying out how justification by faith is lived out in a way that changes us. As he closes out the chapter he highlights two truths that must be held together in tension in order for us to not fall into the heresies of theological legalism or theological liberalism. In so doing Paul provides a powerful description of true Christianity.
